Cloth Diapering with Heather Stamets
Thursday, April 12 @ 6:30 to 8:00
Little Duck House
623 Main Street, Honesdale, PA 18431
If you’re interested in slowing down and making a conscious choice to do something that is easy on the budget, the baby and the environment then the upcoming workshop “Cloth Diapering” is for you. This fun, interactive evening will feature Heather Stamets, a local cloth diapering devotee. Although she’s relatively new to the task (about 5 months), Heather has first-hand experience with cloth diapers and has learned what works and what doesn’t.
“I use primarily flat cloth diapers, but I am familiar with the modern versions such as G-diapers, etc. I’m going to go over the pros and cons of cloth diapering, the many cloth diapering systems available, and the can’t-live-without items for successfully cloth diapering,” says Stamets. “I’ll also share the recipes for home-made wipe solution, diaper “ointment”, and laundry detergent that I use, as well a list of sources that I’ve come across for some of the diaper folds, diaper soaker patterns, etc.”
