Light Bulb Food Dryer Workshop
Learn how to make a low-cost simple food dryer out of wood and two light bulbs at this DIY idea-sharing workshop organized by the Transition Honesdale SkillShare Network. Kevin Hoffman, Jim Martin and Katie Baxter, three local do-it-youselfers will display their home-made food dryers and demonstrate how they work. These dryers can be used to dry fruits, herbs and vegetables such as blueberries, apples, mushrooms, zucchini and kale. Attendees will leave with a set of drawings for a home-made light bulb food dryer, some suggestions for use and a good understanding of how to put one together back at home.
The Light Bulb Food Dryer Workshop will be held on July 15, from 10:00 to 11:00 am at The Cooperage, 1030 Main Street, in Honesdale, PA. Suggested donation $10. Please RSVP by calling 570.352.2488 or email email@example.com. Learn more at transitionhonesdale.org.
